When you see Michonne hiding and cowering in fear at the coming zombies you know you’re about to see a pretty intense episode.
In stark contrast to Morgan’s laid back style, Rick tells his group that survival is paramount and if anything gets in their way, they need to kill it and keep moving.
Some speculation has been made about the cut Rick gets on his hand, but considering everyone has the virus, it doesn’t seem like it’s going to be much of a problem. The only way the cut could come back to haunt him is if it kills him and turns him into a zombie, which isn’t likely at this point in the series.
In the season premiere, a large group left the Safe Zone in order to do a practice run of a zombie heard. Unfortunately, things went wrong and the practice run turned into the full-blown mission. Currently away from Alexandria and in a mess of zombies unlike any we’ve ever seen before are Rick (Andrew Lincoln), Michonne (Danai Gurira), Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green), Glenn (Steven Yeun), Daryl (Norman Reedus), and Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) along with others from the group and a few from Alexandria.
The Walking Dead’s third episode of the sixth season, “Thank You” will debut Sunday night at 9 PM (EST) on AMC.
