The Walking Dead Casting Male Extras with Gun Experience

Sorry, females need not apply for this particular gig. Apparently an upcoming scene requires a few male extras with gun handling experience. The specific casting notice reads:

“For Wednesday 6/24 and possibly Monday 6/29 — we are looking for men mid 20’s to 40 years old with firearms experience — Caucasian, African American, Hispanic – really any ethnicity with some decent amount of firearms experience – former military, police etc…”

Showrunner Scott Gimple Comments on Season 6:

When asked about Season 6 of The Walking Dead, Gimple had this to say:

“I said the show reinvents itself every 8 eps, and we’re doing it again, friendos. Now that these characters know they have what it takes to survive, what are they going to do with that power? How will they choose to live?”

Gimple didn’t really tell fans anything they didn’t already know, other than the fact that it looks like the majority of the season (or at least the first half) will definitely be spent in the Safe Zone. As for what happens, we will have to wait for the trailer released at Comic Con for it to shed some light on what to expect.

New Fear The Walking Dead Teaser:

You know the season premiere is getting closer because we received a teaser yesterday and a new one today. This ten second, soundless clip doesn’t tell us too much except they are obviously looking for more information about the missing, and that the number of missing is on the rise. It also might give us our first glimpse of a zombie, in the darkened figure moving off in the distan

No release date other than August has been offered. The official date should be coming soon, most likely at Comic Con or before.
