Four seasons of The Walking Dead are currently on Netflix with the fifth set to be released this September. Unfortunately though, it can only be watched in the US and Canada. But! There is a workaround. Last week we found a tool that lets people in any country access the US version of Netflix and we’ll be showing you how to use it today!

How does this US Netflix thing work?

We did the research and this is how it works. When you Subscribe to Netflix, it doesn’t matter which country you subscribe in. Canada, America, Australia – they’re all the same in Netflix’s eyes for the actual subscription. BUT. Here’s the kicker. It does matter where you watch Netflix from. So if you watch Netflix from Canada, you’re only going to get Canadian Netflix. So even if you made your account in the US and moved to Canada… you’d still only get the lesser Canadian version.
But fortunately… there is a safe, legal and simple way to spoof your connection to Netflix, making yourself appear to be from the USA using a service called Blockless.

What is Blockless & how does it get me US Netflix?

Blockless is basically a middle man between you and Netflix. Right now when you connect to Netflix, they recognize your country and give you the according Netflix shows. When you use Blockless to connect to Netflix, you can choose whatever country in the world to connect from. Which means… you can choose the USA and get all the American shows & movies.

How do I sign up & get US Netflix?

• Head on over to http://blockless.tv
• Enter your email to sign up for free.
• Follow the setup guide for a specific device (like a PC, Wii, Xbox, Apple TV, etc…)
• Choose the device you want to watch on… and just follow the instructions.
• Enjoy US Netflix!

How much better is American Netflix?

We looked it up and apparently the US Netflix has roughly 8000 more shows & movies than the Canadian or UK counterpart! Quantity isn’t everything of course. The American version also has the more popular shows & movies as well. They have shows like It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Sons of Anarchy, The Office & a much better selection of movies. Bottom line is, it’s a lot better.

Sounds like work… is it hard to setup?

Honestly we thought it would be difficult as we’re not technical people but it turned out to be super easy. Took us about 15 minutes to go from signing up to browsing shows on US Netflix.
